Air Niugini is excited to introduce PX Plus, our new upgrade program offering you the chance to bid for a Business Class seat.
Why am I being offered an upgrade?
From time to time, we have unsold seats in our Business Class cabin. Rather than flying with empty seats, we offer eligible Economy Class passengers the opportunity to bid for an upgrade. If you receive an invitation to request an upgrade, it means one or more flights in your booking are eligible.

What’s involved?
- Opportunity to Bid
After booking your Economy Class ticket, you may be invited to bid for an upgrade to Business Class. If eligible, you will receive an email seven (7) days before your flight inviting you to place a bid.
- Make an Upgrade offer to Business class.
You can place your bid and submit your credit card details to us. Select how much money, per person, you wish to offer to be upgraded per flight. You credit card is only charged if you offer is accepted.
- Offer Acceptance
You will receive email notification between 48 and 24 hours before departure if your bid is successful..
